Foie Gras literally means "Fat Liver"
It's very luxury item on the menu that is originally from France. The dish comes from over feeding a duck to the point the duck gets a fatty liver.
Let's see the source of this exotic dish
The duck are forced to eat.. even if it doesn't desire
The metal pipe pass though throat to stomach .. The ducks will never taste the excessive food.
The small cages force the ducks to stay still. They either can not turn up their body or move up. Less energy spent, the fatter they get.
Their legs were bloated from long standing everyday. No need to sleep because they will be caught to eat again
There is no defending yourself for a duck from a metal pipe going thru the throat to the stomach.
In most cases, there is no slaughter necessary. They are forced to eat until the bodies cant stand this
You can clearly see the food in the mouths of dead birds.
The ducks' digestive systems cannot handle the load. Rarely would you see a duck without a blood splattered anus.

Animals pay a cruel price for being made up of meat.
And they say God made us humans in his own form. Something is terribly wrong somewhere!
