Sri Lanka's premier fashion show, Colombo Fashion Week 2010 will be held next month at the Hilton Hotel in Colombo from February 5- 7, 2010.
The three-day fashion extravaganza sponsored by the HSBC Bank is aimed at developing Sri Lanka as a South Asian fashion hub to encourage and promote commerce between regional designers and retailers and uplift the Sri Lankan fashion design industry through interaction, exposure and guidance to Sri Lankan designers.
The Sri Lankan designers are encouraged to use local textiles and crafts in their designs to boost related industries. Sri Lanka's fabric industry is known world over for its quality and designs.
