Mobitel CALL BLOCK (INCOMING CALL MANAGER)
The Call Block feature will be launched for all Prepaid and Postpaid voice customers on Monday, the 16th of August 2010.
With this feature, customers will be able to block calls received from up to 30 numbers.
Prepaid customers will be charged a daily fee of Rs. 1/- + taxes for each day that the feature is active and an activation fee of Rs. 10/- + taxes.
Postpaid customers will be charged a monthly subscription of Rs. 30/- + taxes and no activation fee.
This feature can be activated by sending YESCB via SMS to 2565 and via the self activation menu #888#.
What is the Call Block (Incoming Call Manager) feature?
The Call Block feature allows customers to add numbers to a 'blacklist'. When a number is added to the blocked caller list, the customer will not receive calls from this blacklisted number.
How can a customer deactivate the Call Block (Incoming Call Manager) Feature via SMS?
Both prepaid and postpaid customers can deactivate the feature by sending NOCB to 2565
How can a customer add a number to the blocked caller list via SMS?
Prepaid and Postpaid customers can add a number by sending ADD <number> to 2565.
How can a customer remove a number from the blocked caller list via SMS?
Prepaid and Postpaid customers can remove a number by sending RM <number> to 2565.
How can a customer view the numbers added to the blocked caller list via SMS?
All customers can view the numbers currently in the blocked caller list by sending CB to 2565.
How can a customer receive the relevant SMS codes required for the Call Block (Incoming Call Manager) feature?
Prepaid and Postpaid customers can send INFO to 2565. They will receive the following SMS.

What will happen if a call is received from a blocked caller?
The blocked caller will hear a message that states the "number has not responded".
If a customer deactivates the Call Block feature and activates the feature at a later date, will the previous blocked caller list be preserved?
No. Upon deactivation of the feature, all numbers in the blocked caller will be removed and will not be restored upon re-activation.
Can IDD numbers be added to the blocked number list?
Yes. IDD numbers can be added to the blocked caller list. However, calls from the number will be successfully blocked only in the event that the CLI is received.
How can I view the numbers a caller has blacklisted?
You can view the blocked caller list and blocked caller log for Prepaid customers only via the Telnet options (22 Prepaid 28 Sales & Distribution 14 Call Screen Active Blocked List) and (22 Prepaid 28 Sales & Distribution 13 Call Screen PRE User History) respectively.
If a customer has diverted calls to another number will the blocked caller list apply?
Yes. Even in the event that a customer has diverted calls to an alternate number, calls from the blocked number list will not be put through.
