Introducing 1717 the new Customer Care Hotline Number of Mobitel !!
Dear All,
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new 4-digit Customer Care Hotline number 1717.
The new number which is much shorter, more convenient and memorable is open to all members of the public and can be dialed from other networks in Sri Lanka as well.
With the introduction of the new Customer Care Hotline number the previously used 10-digit number 0712 755 777 will be discontinued but NOT with immediate effect so as to provide a smooth transition for customers used to the old number.
Nevertheless the new number 1717 being much shorter and thus more convenient and memorable is soon expected to take over the entire volume of the inquiries channeled through to Mobitel. To maintain consistency, kindly use 1717 as the Customer Care Hotline number in all your future correspondence/ communications.
