mClassifieds Publish Classified Ads via SMS for the First Time in Sri Lanka by Mobitel

 

Mobitel is to introduce mClassifieds, an SMS based classified ads publishing service for the First Time in Sri Lanka,where Mobitel customers can now publish classified ads on Divaina and Island papers. The service is available for both Prepaid & Postpaid subscribers and accessing method and charging details given below.

 

How to access the service:

 

1.     Simply dial # 369# and obtain a reference number by selecting the required newspaper, date, category from the relevant USSD menus.

2.     Type the reference number <Space> <Classified ad> and send it to 369

 

Charges:

 

News paper	Sunday	Week days
Divaina	400 LKR	200 LKR
Island	160 LKR	115 LKR

Above charges are Inclusive of taxes.

 

Dialing #369#:  Free

SMS (per message) to 369: 2.50 + taxes LKR

1.       What is mClassified?

mClassified is a SMS & USSD base VAS solution for Mobitel subscribers to submit classified advertiedments to Island & Divaina newspapers published by Upali Newspapers.

 

2.       How to submit an AD?

1.       Dial #369#

2.       Select "Send New Classified"

3.       Select the Newspaper "Island" or "Divaina"

4.       Select date

5.       Select the classified category

6.       You will receive a SMS with the reference number

7.       Type <reference number><space><Your ad>  and send it to 369

8.       Your will be alerted via an SMS upon the receipt of your SMS.
